Major mining group in South Africa required two multi-deck weighbridges for the purposes of weighing for trade purposes inbound and outbound material deliveries, while at the same time ensuring complete compliance with the Road Traffic Act’s axle loading requirements and correct weighing ticket format. In addition, the weighing software was required to integrate with the customers material handling ERP system.

The solution was to supply two Sasco MP120T multi-deck road weighbridges loaded with Sasco ProWeigh + with a Business Connector module, enabling ERP interfacing.

In order to maximize the final payloads, top up loading was done with the truck on the weighbridge. In order to make this possible, remote displays were also installed, enabling the front end loader operators to see the axle group loadings, and which parts of the truck can we loaded with more aggregate. 

The calibration and verification were done by Sasco Metrology Servicers testing to full capacity using 50% standard weights.
