Introducing Sasco’s WB-UL: Sasco Launches Versatile Trade Approved Weighbridge For Mining Dump Trucks.

Open cast mines often operate with a combination of truck fleets, including dump trucks that transport unprocessed material from the mine and standard road trucks that carry the processed product on national roads for export or further processing.
To address these dual requirements, Sasco has introduced a trade-approved hybrid weighbridge capable of accommodating both standard tri-axle and interlink trucks and mining dump trucks. Dump Trucks such as the CAT 745C can be weighed on the WB-UL.
The specifications of the fully digital WB-UL are as follows:
- Length: 24 meters
- Width: 4.5 meters
- Total Capacity: 120 tons
- Maximum Axle Loading: 50 tons
- Digital with full axle weighing functionality
These specifications enable the WB-UL to accommodate a combination of trucks, as illustrated below:
