THE AXLE WEIGHING GAME CHANGER: WIM 2000 IN MOTION AXLE WEIGHING SOLUTION HAS ARRIVED.
The Road Traffic Act 22nd Amendment has compelled a whole range of businesses, who would not normally have been concerned about truck weighing or axle overloading to consider how they as Consignors will comply with the new laws.
The options available to those Consignors who were already selling goods by weight and thus already had weighbridges was to ask Sasco to upgrade the instrumentation and software on their existing standard weighbridges to provide axle weights or to buy new multi-deck weighbridges from Sasco and other suppliers.
Those Consignor’s who do not sell goods by weight and thus have no need or desire to make the significant capital investment in a weighbridge, nor often had space, faced a real dilemma.
Recognizing this dilemma, Sasco set about developing a proprietary solution combining the functionality of Sasco ProWeigh+ software with a robust compact weigh-in-motion weighing deck and a new weigh-in-motion indicator.
The resulting solution is the WIM2000 which is a highly accurate, weigh-in-motion system with full ERP interfacing functionality with a range of automation options, and subject to compliance with each SADC countries requirements, full SOLAS weighing capabilities as well.
