New weighbridges with a verified capacity in excess of 60T will only be permitted if approved under a specific approval for that weighbridge and which shall also be site specific.
In relation to owners and operators who currently have weighbridges verified to more than 60T, this newsletter summarises in a flow chart from the options to be followed to be legal.
Sasco has approximately 150 different weighbridge deck and instrumentation combinations approved on essentially most weighbridge decks that are in use in South Africa today.
If you currently have an 80T weighbridge and you need a solution to remain legal contact us on info@sascoafrica.comand we will determine if we have an existing Sasco instrumentation approval which could immediately solve your problem.
